Work from home with encouragement and tutorials!
Watercolor Weekly is a newsletter with articles by Wendy Soneson, artist, writer and teacher. Wendy teaches art classes and workshops in the Bay Area, California. Recently she has been doing watercolor demonstrations at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Isabelle Steward Gardner Museum. Her most recent show was at the Oakland City Hall, California. Classes are designed to teach all levels. She teaches from a strict fine arts approach, encouraging the students to focus on becoming real artists rather than on results. She is a certified School of Color teacher, using only primaries so as to learn color theory along with watercolor techniques. Her degree is in The Arts in Human Development, a Masters of Education from Lesley College. You can learn her approach by downloading her books on this website: Watercolor Basics and Think like an Artist. Wendy does special one on one sessions with elders, for more go to wendysoneson.com To contact Wendy with questions about painting, click here |
