Looks like I might be able to figure out photos on this blog from the traveling computer. This is the old homestead. This is the main farmhouse a few blocks from the Pennypack Creek where my grandfather Don Rose raised his 12 children. He was a writer and did a humor column for the Philadelphia paper about the children, and some books too about this house and the children. From them came my 86 cousins, many of whom raised children in this same little town so most people I see look familiar either because I knew their parents (or grandparents!!) in school or they are actually my cousin or second cousin or third cousin twice removed. I have not painted this house yet but might later. I will be painting at the Be Well cafe next week and throughout the summer. Not sure how often I will travel back and forth from the nice cool poconos to the much hotter valley around Philadelphia throughout the summer. Its about a two hour drive and since the whirlwind last week of travel and family, I need a little break before getting in the car. And my nice brother in law is fixing my breaks first anyway. So today is organization day!
